What is your style?
I have a relaxed photographic style, aiming to capture candid moments created on the day to ensure that your photos are filled with personality and emotion.
Do you use an assistant?
No, I shoot on my own.
Do we have to meet beforehand?
A meet and greet is a nice way to get to know your photographer, although it is not essential. All meetings take place in Stellenbosch. Alternatively we can also setup a meeting via Skype.
What if it’s raining on my shoot day?
My lifestyle shoots I do outside on location during sunset. I’ll check the weather constantly a few days before the shoot. If the weather is not playing along, I would suggest to re-schedule.
How long will I have to wait for my photos?
Lifestyle and commercial photos take about 2 weeks, but may take longer due to workload
How do I get my photos?
Photos are delivered digitally via Dropbox.
An USB stick is available at an additional cost, but all photo packages needs to be collected in Stellenbosch. Deliveries by post are billed to the client.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes, I love to travel and love to shoot all over the world. If you would like to book me for a shoot outside of Western Cape or South Africa, please contact me for a custom quote.
When do I pay?
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The rest is due on or before shoot day.
What lighting equipment do you use?
I only use natural light for my shoots. Soft-boxes and studio lights can be rented for commercial shoots, at an additional cost and needs to be arranged beforehand.
Do you shoot newborns?
I only do newborn photos as part of my family shoots. Shoots are not styled, I shoot the babies in their natural environment with their parents. Shoots only lasts 60-90 minutes, which differ from the 4-5 hours you need for a styled newborn shoot.
Do you use props?
No, I don't shoot with props or supply props, but if you have something specific you want to use in your shoot, you are more than welcome to bring it along.
Do you style your shoots?
No, I am not a stylist. For styled commercial or lifestyle shoots, a stylist must be arranged and paid for by the client.
